Science Week at our school was a real opportunity for students to explore the world of science in new and exciting ways. Through themed workshops and projects dedicated to famous scientists and their discoveries, students could learn through play and fun.
Each year group was given a different scientist to represent, and focus was on their contribution to a particular field, which allowed students to learn about different aspects of science. Through experiments, workshops, and presentations, students actively participated in the process of learning and creation, which resulted in interesting works.
The science fair at the end of this week was an opportunity for children to show their work and share it with the wider community. Parents, teachers, and other students had the opportunity to see everything the students learned and created, supporting their love of the scientific world and motivating them to keep exploring and learning.
We believe that events like this will inspire our students to further research in science and maybe become scientists in the future.
