Internet Safety Week was created in our school to raise awareness about the dangers lurking on the Internet. Through a series of activities and lectures, we tried to inform our students about the potential threats they may encounter while using the Internet, and how to protect themselves.
The Internet has a lot of good sides, it provides numerous opportunities for learning, entertainment, and communication, but it also carries risks that can endanger the safety of children. During this week, we educated children on how to use the Internet safely.
Special emphasis is placed on the importance of conversations between parents, teachers, and children about internet safety. We encouraged students to be aware of their online activities and to contact their parents or teachers if they notice any inappropriate behaviour or encounter unwanted content.
Internet safety is essential, and together we can work to create a safer online environment for all of us.
